Having been residents in varied residencies throughout the US and Abroad, we know what it is like to return from the studio tired, spent and in need of quiet sanctuary.  Our residents find it encouraging to walk accross the street into their unique victorian home and relax in their furnished private room.  Each floor has full kitchen, bath and living room.  Laundry facilities are also included on site.  If you don't want to cook,  there are 2 local restaurants, 1 pizza shop, a chinese take-out and a mexican retaurant within 2 blocks.  During the day you'll want to visit Burnaps Farm Market, 1 mile north toward the lake...(world class salads!)

The Residency/Artist's Retreat experience at The Sodus Art Bank is intended to provide unique artists with a comfortable place to collect themselves with creative time and space to focus on their work.

Additionally, artists who customarily recreate through the outdoor activities of biking, canoeing, kayaking, or sailing will find this residency of particular interest due to the relative close proximity of a variety of waters, trails and bike routes.
